Dombivili is most crowded station on Central line. Most of the city population is working sector.
Dombivili is a Marathi city in India with a population more than 15,00,000. Dombivli is well known for rapid industrial growth with major dyes, paints, chemical, and heavy metal factories based in the industrial part of the town.
Dombivli also has the honour of becoming the first fully "literate" town in Maharashtra and the second in India.
Here families are often referred to as DISCOs (Double Income Single Child Only). About 67-68% of families in the city are classified as DISCOs.
In 1984, Dombivali Municipal Council was merged that of neighboring Kalyan to form a new governing body, the Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation.

i want timing distance from cstm to kalyan how many stations & how much time takes to arrival in fast & slow train i want timeing from station to station

Please forward this to the concerned authorities for appropriate action to be taken as soon as possible 1. Start kalyan / Dombivli - Vashi service.. Bcoz of increasing commuters on the line and no service available apart from the buses. The buses are heavily crowded. Besides it takes a whole one to one and a half hour to reach vasi and CBD. So the need for trains between Kyn / DI to vashi. 2. Start direct fast trains from Dombivli. It is the need of the hour especially peak hours. As the dombivilites don’t have a direct fast train (Dombivli –CSt). They have to board other trains… well u know… the doorways are jammed and the dombivilites are unable to enter.
